i am glad they are sticking to qualifying standards and not going to a lottery. i, too, hope they did their research as to how many people in each age group run an x:xx qualifying time so that the new tiered registration is balanced. ive read a lot of chatter about the race filling up before the last tier is able to register, and i hope that is not a sincere concern for people. if you run a BQ, you should have a chance to register just like anyone else whether its 2-seconds or 20-minutes faster than the BQ time.
